They resurrected this chestnut to ask about the median MAP score at TPMS in recent years. To my knowledge, MCPS hasn't released that info, but given that this program has been a lottery of the top 15% since the pandemic started, it's a safe bet it's a few points lower. Nevertheless, as a TPMS parent, I can say that the program seems great, and the kids seem to be doing as well as ever. This suggests the county would do well to expand these offerings to even more kids, not restrict them.

I think you're right. Frost had a good day but I doubt this will happen again or is even repeatable. In fact, let's follow up on this in a couple of months and see how it pans out. Most the nonsense posted here is by bitter parents whose kids weren't able to make the cut for TPMS so they delight in trash-talking and spreading debunked conspiracy theories.

Folks - why are you continuing to reply to this thread about how it is really old and whyever did someone dig it up again? Somehow you’ve added 3 more pages of nonsense.

The reason I’m replying is to make you aware of this amazing feature in the lower right of each comment called the “report” button, which I’m about to use. Jeff is a great moderator and wants to keep threads useful and under control, but he needs our eyes to do it. Please just hit report and tell the request (“delete-troll comment”, “please lock - old thread, no reason to reopen”, etc.) It’s the best way to discourage trolls and keep the forum useful.
