Blame whomever you want but at the end of the day, if we keep electing substandard presidents like Trump and Biden, we will be continually opening the door for more substandard presidents. Weakness breeds weakness. Not rocket science. |
Yes, but we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Biden and his decision to run for reelection when he would be an 86 year old president and obviously incapable of performing his duties. That is what brought us here - the utter arrogance of Biden and the Democratic establishment forcing a feeble gerontocracy as the only alternative to Trump. And when that game was up, then forcing an unpopular wine mom vp that couldn't even make it to the Iowa caucuses when she ran for president. Everything that Democrats did in the 2024 election was a disaster. And that's why we have Trump today. Because Democrats are pompous morons. |
That is your defense? Trump is trying to make Gaza another Atlantic city. Hmm, k. |
If Trump wasn’t the R nominee in 2016 we wouldn’t be having this conversation. |
Trump incited an insurrection. He should be in jail, but the very least impeached and disqualified from ever running for office again. Instead, he was the Republican nominee in 2024. He had no platform and no plan at all for what he would do as president except screaming about immigrants. He accused Haitians of eating their pets. He disparaged and denigrated groups of people just based on their appearance. Biden could’ve been in a coma and he still would’ve been a better choice |
It's more accurate to say Biden was the less horrific choice relative to Trump. Both are complete embarrassments to all presidents who came before them. |
That implies that they were in the same realm. The reality is that Biden was, at his worst, better then Trump on his best day. |
Illegal immigration down 99.9%, Houthis gave up, inflation at 2.3, unemployment at 4.2, fair trade more and more, energy prices down, criminals being expelled from the country, ... |
Well, that does it, I’m definitely not voting for Biden in the next election. |
lol, ok, sure. |
Trump won in 2016 because we ran a flawed candidate—against him.
Look I loved her. But half the people hated her. Like Meghan l-Markle-hated her. Why do we keep allowing MSM pundits and strategists to makes decisions for the party? They are out to make money for themselves and they do no matter how badly they lose the election. |
These aren't true? |
No she was not. They did not want her to know and try to mount her own offense. Daily Beast has a "6 people who knew" article that sounds right, older but based on NYT reporting - https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-six-key-people-who-hid-signs-of-bidens-decline/ (I haven't read the new book though) |
Exactly. And let’s not forget the policies that Democrats wanted Biden expanded immigration thru out his entire term. Biden, and Harris the Border Czar, created the disaster that lost the election to an idiot like Trump. In his first 100 days in office, Biden signed more than 60 executive actions, 24 of which are direct reversals of Trump’s policies. Biden has defended the number as necessary to undo what he considers “bad policy” inherited from Trump, especially on immigration. To date, 10 of his 12 actions on immigration are reversals of Trump’s policies. “And I want to make it clear — there’s a lot of talk, with good reason, about the number of executive orders that I have signed — I’m not making new law; I’m eliminating bad policy,” Biden said as he signed a series of actions on immigration from the Oval Office on February 2. “What I’m doing is taking on the issues that — 99% of them — that the president, the last president of the United States, issued executive orders I felt were very counterproductive to our security, counterproductive to who we are as a country, particularly in the area of immigration.” https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2021/politics/biden-executive-orders/ papa Biden 1 - https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2024/06/06/biden-immigration-asylum-policy-migrant-family/ papa Biden 2 - https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/interactive/2024/immigration-journey-venezuela-trump-harris-election/ |
The good thing for Dems in this regard is that Biden and his inexplicable border ideas is long gone and no longer an influence on the party. If appropriate long term legislation to reform our immigration laws isn't passed by 2028, the immigration failure issue falls in the lap of the GOP during the next election cycle. |
