Cerebral aneurysm

Anonymous
My 5-year-old DS had an MRI of his brain about two years ago that discovered an asymptomatic focal dilatation which is probably a very small aneurysm. Repeat MRA's over the past two years have shown it to be stable, so he is in no immediate danger.

We, of course, would like to do all that we can to prevent the worsening of his condition, e.g., diet, supplements, lifestyle modification, etc. We would also like to have a plan of action in the event we must act on short notice, e.g., list of the best vascular neurosurgeons and interventional neuroradiologists in the DC area and across the country.

We would appreciate hearing from parents of DCs with cerebral aneurysms about their experiences. Please email me at dadindc@live.com if you don't feel comfortable posting to the forum.

Thank you.
