Feedback on Summer Adventure Camp - Lynne Israel and Associates

Does anyone have feedback on this camp for sensory/motor development and self regulation issues? How are the facilities, counselors, did it help your child?

Thanks for asking this - I'd love to know also. My child's OT (leaps & bounds) said this is a great camp -but it's very expensive, so I'd love to hear other people's actual experiences.
thanks!

On that note. Does anyone know where I can find a camp like that for a 3 year old???

We had a good experience. My kid has regulatory issues so all of the movement was terrific. The camp is at the JPDS on 16th St. The classrooms are set up well and have "cool out" tents for kids who need a break. The playground is small but fine. One downside to the current location is that there isn't any suspended equipment. In terms of activities, there is yoga, drama, cooking and music, plus typical OT tactile, gross and fine motor work. They also work on social skills. Many of the campers return and some drive from considerable distances in MD and VA. We found it worth the cost but it depends on what you child responds to. The staff is very young but very warm and seemed to know what they were doing. Did you have any specific concerns or things you hoped to get out of it?
