| We're planning to hardscape our backyard (because of a tick infestation) and thinking about flagstone because it's so beautiful and natural. However, it might not be the most child-friendly material, as it might create rough or uneven surfaces that wouldn't happily coexist with tricyles and other toys. Does anyone have a suggestion? What have others chosen for their patios/backyards/etc? Because of the ticks we can't use woodchips, grass or other organic/vegetative materials. Thanks for any ideas.... |
| flagstone is very slippery when wet. how about rubber mulch. It looks real, also fake grass, these days it is pretty amazing, unless you have a pet. Also brick, it hurts when you fall on it, but it is not slippery. good luck |
