Carson made up a whole set of violent incidents for his autobiography so that he could sell a "sinner redeemed" narrative to a Christian audience. No one can confirm the incidents happened. He won't offer any evidence that the incidents happened. His classmates remember him as quiet and bookish and obedient to authority, not some violent hellion.

if no one in his entire middle school can recall him lacerating a kid with a lock then he has a problem. A 3 inch gash is pretty memorable.

Oh FFS, I don't know what to make of this controversy over Carson. (It is conceivable that he did do those things and kept them secret but how likely that is I don't know.) But seriously, you're bringing up Clinton?! Like everyone who has a problem with Carson was all happy to excuse Bill for his behavior?! Wow, thanks, pp!
