No outrage, let alone faux outrage, here because I don't give a flying S**t what you or your sitting president (one who, according to your lying party and presidential candidate confirmed had the sharpest mind only 3-4 months ago, then kicked him to the curb once they figured out he couldn't win) think of me. Funny calling me a snowflake, when you are the one clutching your pearl every single time someone says something that goes against your woke ideologies |
Not that PP but being against racist speech in a campaign rally is not "woke" Saying Hatians are eating cats and dogs when you know it ks BS just to inflame your followers is absolutely racist. There is no other way to see it unless you do not understand racism nor have people you care about who are POC It's just calling a spade a spade |
Whether you find it funny or not, that is your right. I personally didn't think it was appropriate either, but I find it hypocritical to get upset at what a comedian said and not be bothered by a non-candidate's insult (who is supposedly the leader of the party). In your own words, I know you don't care about what half of US population who do not share your political views thought. |

Called out Biden as wrong Can you call out Trump saying a BS story about Haitians eating cats and dogs as racist? How about the the appropriateness of the other opening rally speaker saying the entire Democratic party is degenerate? The speakers represent his campaign so essentially his beliefs. Call a spade a spade. I'll wait. |
Yeah, ok. Not like that came across as unhinged or anything... |
I am a POC and know racism firsthand. I call a spade a spade when migrants are being sent away within days of arriving on Martha's vineyards. Talk the talk, walk the walk. It's nice to feign outrage and flash your high moral grounds when the matter doesn't really affect you, but how many would truly open their doors? There are plenty of youtube videos about people saying that the US should absolutely help migrants with housing, food, and so on but when they were asked to actually help house a migrant family, they all found some kind of excuses to say no. |
|
That is not actually true but sure, you sound quite mad. Can we get back to the question posed? |
|
Ok thank you but my OP was in response to someone who said they are not bothered by a comment from the sitting president since he is not the candidate. I can also call the whole Haitians fiasco as racist. If a speaker at a Trump rally truly called the entire Democratic party (ie the other half of the population) degenerate, then I would also consider it inappropriate, but if that speaker said the Democratic party (like the politicians) is degenerate then I won't find it inappropriate because name calling seems to be the norm for both parties |
Fair enough. |
