Clearly you cant see the difference here. You're in for a surprise come election night. This mattered, in the words of trump, "BIGLY."

+1 They know the difference but refuse to accept it, them and their high moral ground and all lol

I have a hell of a lot of clips of Trump from his presidency saying things about the nation and over half of its population

Show us

Video of him saying America is a 3rd world country.

Just google “US and garbage can” for videos of him using that term about the US.

Sorry, he said "we" meaning he's included in the third world country. Not at all the same as calling the people who don't agree with you and who don't vote for you garbage. If you can't tell the difference, I don't know what to tell you.

Or calling your political opponents vermin and scum, right???

Again, calling political opponents names is not the same as calling the half of US population that doesn't support you garbage just because they don't agree with you. And it's not like Harris hasn't called her political opponents names. 3/4 of all her speech is about how Donald Trump is Fascist, a disguised Hitler, and so on

Sure. Unlike the Democrats, Trump is just trying to give everybody (or his microphone) a happy ending, right?

when you can't come up with a better argument, resort to sarcasm

I don't need a better argument. Trump has been on his bad behavior for eight years, and it's getting worse. I genuinely don't care about your faux outrage. If you're truly outraged, you're a snowflake. Either way, I DGAF.

No outrage, let alone faux outrage, here because I don't give a flying S**t what you or your sitting president (one who, according to your lying party and presidential candidate confirmed had the sharpest mind only 3-4 months ago, then kicked him to the curb once they figured out he couldn't win) think of me. Funny calling me a snowflake, when you are the one clutching your pearl every single time someone says something that goes against your woke ideologies

Not that PP but being against racist speech in a campaign rally is not "woke"

Saying Hatians are eating cats and dogs when you know it ks BS just to inflame your followers is absolutely racist. There is no other way to see it unless you do not understand racism nor have people you care about who are POC

It's just calling a spade a spade

Exactly. Not going to get upset about a non-candidate making a verbal gaffe. Trump has insulted me time and again over the years and he is running for president.

But you sure freaked out at a comedian's joke.

It represented the views of the campaign and was not actually funny. They just have the opening act say it so Trumpy can feign innocence? I know you don't care about what most Puerto Ricans thought (typical)

Whether you find it funny or not, that is your right. I personally didn't think it was appropriate either, but I find it hypocritical to get upset at what a comedian said and not be bothered by a non-candidate's insult (who is supposedly the leader of the party). In your own words, I know you don't care about what half of US population who do not share your political views thought.

I actually do think what Biden said, or how it came across, was wrong.

Now you do that with about a million other things voiced by Trump.

Called out Biden as wrong

Can you call out Trump saying a BS story about Haitians eating cats and dogs as racist? How about the the appropriateness of the other opening rally speaker saying the entire Democratic party is degenerate? The speakers represent his campaign so essentially his beliefs.

Call a spade a spade. I'll wait.

I am a POC and know racism firsthand. I call a spade a spade when migrants are being sent away within days of arriving on Martha's vineyards. Talk the talk, walk the walk. It's nice to feign outrage and flash your high moral grounds when the matter doesn't really affect you, but how many would truly open their doors? There are plenty of youtube videos about people saying that the US should absolutely help migrants with housing, food, and so on but when they were asked to actually help house a migrant family, they all found some kind of excuses to say no.

Still waiting for you to call out Trump for including racist speech, a speaker who calles all democrats degenerates, and his racist story about Haitians eating cats and dogs.

Tick tock tick tock.

Ok thank you but my OP was in response to someone who said they are not bothered by a comment from the sitting president since he is not the candidate.

I can also call the whole Haitians fiasco as racist. If a speaker at a Trump rally truly called the entire Democratic party (ie the other half of the population) degenerate, then I would also consider it inappropriate, but if that speaker said the Democratic party (like the politicians) is degenerate then I won't find it inappropriate because name calling seems to be the norm for both parties
