Corporal punishment at Dora Kennedy French immersion

Has anyone seen this?

My kids are not school age yet, and while I'd like to send them to public school we are not 100% sure yet. Stories like these seem to give credence to the county's bad reputation. I mean, this is supposed to be one of the "good" schools! I am appalled.

It happens in public and private school.

Can't be as a teacher, right? They just let go of a bunch of teachers and para educators. Maybe as a long term sub? Though that's scary, too. My kids have complained about a sub that was "mean" and screamed a lot.

They are not afraid to paddle in Texas. If we had this here, there would be fewer discipline problems in the schools.
