Dryer recommendations - do you love yours?

| We are set on the Speed Queen washer but are on the fence about the dryer. We're considering going cheap-o on the dryer since the reliability differences don't seem to be as stark for dryers than for washers. Basically we're debating the $700 Speed Queen vs. a $350 Amana. Would we be that much better off spending the money on the speed queen? Not as concerned about the matching set. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles. Just looking for something quiet and reliable. Thanks in advance. |

| I love my basic kenmore dryer, the only "fancy" feature it has is a moisture sensor. I think the moisture sensor is a must for me now. |
