Restaurant with fun atmosphere like Founding Farmers?

I have some friends coming in from out of town. I really like the atmosphere at Founding Farmers but am looking to try something new. Any suggestions?

Have you tried their sister restaurant in Georgetown, Farmers, Fishers Bakers? It's good. I also like Woodward Table.

I feel like Acadiana has similar atmosphere but it's a higher price point. Also really good.

It's not a new restaurant, but I love the atmosphere in Firefly in Dupont Circle. (The "tree" and lanterns.) And the food is great!

If you want someone just to hang out and don't need it to be a formal dinner, I suggest Tryst or the Coop.

District Commons is fun, and pretty close to FF in Foggy Bottom.
