Preachy conservatives are equally tedious, in my experience.

The difference is that conservatives tend to have kids while liberals don’t. So in order to grow their numbers, liberals need to be more aggressive in capturing other peoples’ children to their cause. Look at our schools and tell me this isn’t happening.

But really, the statistics show that it is a lot safer to have children at 23 rather than 43. There will be plenty of time later in life to get all preachy. Plus if you’ve had children, at least for a while you’ll have a captive audience to hear your preaching. It’s just not the same effect with cats…they’re not really listening.
