We have four doors with a total of seven locks (all but one door have two locks). Three locks share the same key, and the other four locks share a second key. A locksmith wants to charge $750 for the job. This seems high to me. Any thoughts? |
That is high. You can take the lock to a hardware store and have them all done for a fraction of the cost. |
Very high. |
You could do this yourself for the cost of the locks plus a couple of hours of labor. |
I paid less than 200 for the same work. Wheaton Locksmith. |
crazy expensive |
Yep, wayyy high. Let us know who you pick. |
This is ridiculous. I hope your're getting all new doorknobs too for that price. |
Installing new doorknobs with locks is really not hard. I watched a couple of YouTube videos and did it at my dad's house. Bought them at Home Depot. I wouldn't pay that much, assuming they are ordinary doors and lock sets. |
