| Odd question but has anyone replaced carpet recently in the DC area and found some less "toxic" options? We want to install new carpet and we have twins on the way so I don't want to install new carpet right before they arrive with all that toxic glue, etc involved. I know hardwood and other options would be best but I really want carpet. Anyone?? |
| Natural wool carpet. If you google "non toxic carpet" several companies pop up with alternatives to regular carpet. |

FLOR carpet is non toxic. It comes in squares so that you can replace parts of it as it wears, or take up a square to clean.
We don't have it, but are looking into it as well. |
