14:02, Please name three people (in addition to Trump) who you believe would have the guts and the intelligence to secure our borders.
|
Exactly. I'm personally tired of hearing about Biden it's all MAGA has.....how about MAGA start realizing trump is the president and he's old and unhealthy. |
He doesn’t have the intelligence, but he does have the guts. I can’t stand him, but until Democrats get with it on the border, MAGA will have an audience. |
Americans will now always vote for secure borders.
The Democrat Party is toast. |

One Democrat failed to secure the border- Joe Biden. Joe Biden is retired now. No other Dem president has ever failed to secure the border as well as any GOP president. The border is in Trump's hands now. Trump promised to build a wall to secure the border during his first term but failed due to his lack of political savvy. Trump promised once again to secure the border in his second term. If it isn't secured by a wall and/or some other type of permanent legislative fix by 2028, it's Trump and the GOP who will be to blame for not securing our borders. It's Trump number one campaign promise. He needs to follow through with a permanent fix; not some band aid policy set by an EO that can easily be reversed. |
Are you in middle school? There is nothing strong or intelligent about Trump. |
Illegal border crossings have dropped by more than 90 percent since Trump was elected. And that's without any new legislation at all. It is mystifying to me why Democrats are so in favor of more illegal migrants, especially since it really hurts the working class. I'm sure Biden's senility was part of it, but obviously he wasn't the one making decisions. It's such a bizarre policy choice for Democrats. |
We need a wall or some other guarantee of a secured border within legislation that serves as comprehensive immigration/asylum law reform. Temporarily dropped by 90% isn't a long term permanent fix. With no permanent long term fix in place by 2028, border security and immigration policy will be a problematic campaign issue for the GOP in 2028 because they will have once again failed to deliver on their number one campaign promise. |
And a total sociopath. |
I’m the PP. I agree with you in part, but since 2016 and 2020 especially the rhetoric (and perceived position) of the Democratic Party has basically been that “immigrants” (really, poor economic migrants from Central America) are hard workers and earnest asylum seekers and basically that the influx of such people coming over the Southern border is a made up problem and that efforts to deport them or even identify that this is an issue and stronger border enforcement is needed to keep them out are racist. There is definitely an optics issue for the Democrats, preventing them from exercising common sense, because obviously these people are nonwhite. This reaction is, I believe, an overcorrection in large part responding to Trump’s (often racist) rhetoric since 2016 and then the national racial justice movement that began in 2020. Biden happened to be the Democrat in power during this period, so yes, he deserves a lot of blame for it, but it’s a Democratic policy generally and it’s extremely unpopular. Trump was basically able to capitalize on this twice. How the Democratic party hasn’t learned this yet is beyond me. |
And what good is a secure border if our economy is in the toilet, every single aspect in terms of cost of living gets exponentially more expensive, unemployment sky rockets, etc, etc?? There is nothing, absolutely nothing that Trump campaigned on or is doing now to help provide financial security for everyday Americans. Let’s guess why….he does not give a crap. |
Your daily reminder that Biden ran in 2020 because of Trump. He would have happily stayed retired if the voters had an ounce of common sense and not voted for Trump in 2016. But because of their stupidity here we are. |
I think we all need to de-program ourselves. Neither party meets our needs.
The sooner you realize, the more inner peace you will feel |
It's really sad that this was hidden from voters. The Biden inner circle basically ushered in a second Trump era. It's telling that the Obamas were never very enthusiastic about the VP becoming President. They knew him well!
Personally I think that Biden should never have been elected, not even to a first term. He was OK during his first term, but the problem is that a first term set up his own expectations for a second one. We should have seen this coming, and never picked him in the first place. From now on, only younger people for the Presidency please. Trump has cognitive problems of his own, and had them in his first term as well (not to mention the moral, legal, constitutional, financial, etc...). We can only move forward by pushing for more transparency and recognizing each party's weaknesses. |
