LOL.. those 2020 votes were people coming out in droves to vote AGAINST two people who were clearly the worst two major party nominees in the history of this country. Anyone who thinks those two bumbling elderly fools are in the same league as our previous real presidents is a complete idiot. Don't believe me? Watch the sad and disturbing Trump vs Biden debates and then watch some POTUS debates from the 70's through 2012. You'll quickly learn the difference between presidential and grumpy yelling elderly men with zero leadership skill. Most of you refuse to watch these debates because you want to continue ignoring the obvious truth! |

Did you miss the memo on the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991 and the change in government in 1999? They certainly are not communist. Russia was never communist. The Soviet Union was. You can consult Wikipedia, The CIA World Fact book, or whatever source you want. Sorry for your failed public edumacation.

| The silver lining of being the minority party for a few years is that we don’t have to be so cautious and “centrist white man” this year. It’ll be interesting to see what progress we can make on LGBTQIA+ issues before we inevitably have to run a straight white candidate again in 2028. |

I’m a 40-something AA with a circle of other educated 40-something AAs in the DMV, all born and raised here. We frequently discuss and agree with this. It is a huge blind spot that is frequently shut down when some people tried to explain, it was justified away. It was the pushing of gender changes on kids that rubbed a lot of Democrat Christians (many black women) the wrong way. And taking on too many issues to push too hard too fast that we knew would put a sour taste in people’s mouth, whether justified or not. But we all still voted Blue No Matter Who. Same reason we can believe that abortion is immoral in God’s eyes as Christians but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have a right to make decisions about our bodies. The black Christian Democratic vote is misunderstood and very powerful. Thats why it always surprises people when we mobilize our communities. |

It’s mostly Dems doing that. They are eager to protect their policy/religious beliefs from re-evaluation, so the take is that the party is great but Biden was terrible. |

We could create a very small box of attributes and credentials to try to squeeze our next POTUS nominee into or we could hope for a fair and open primary that allows the best possible POTUS nominee to emerge. Your small box gave us Biden. No thank you. I want a fair and open primary that produces an Obama or Clinton. |

You aren’t going to like this answer but: destroyed livelihoods permanently with their pandemic policies and kept kids out of school in the pandemic. The deep anger over Democratic pandemic policies is powerful, but the elitist leaders that run the Democratic Party and their laptop class supporters won’t even acknowledge all the losses, let alone that people are angry. The wealthy Democrats who benefited off the labor of working class people whose kids suffered the most from the school closures have conveyed over and over who much they do not care about how those working classes suffered under Democrats. Do you understand just how deeply people like Pelosi and the laptop class Democrats of DCUM are absolutely hated by most Americans? |

I absolutely do understand this hatred and it's warranted. I also understand the hatred for Trump in 2020 that gave him a 40% approval rating and ZERO chance of winning the 2020 election. In 2024, Biden was the incumbent with a 40% approval rating and ZERO chance of winning the 2024 election. In 2028, Trump will be lucky to have maintained a 40% approval rating and the GOP will have ZERO chance of a 2028 election victory. At some point, you'd think the gullible and naive GOP and Dem loyalists would realize where this cycle of awfulness leads and they'd begin to demand better leadership... |

The Democrats have become very strict about conformity. Everyone has to accept the platform, no disagreement allowed. African-Americans are less enthusiastic about forced injections, due to a hard-earned understanding of US Gov’t history, but rich white liberals don’t accept that. They relate more to the compromised rich whites in the revolving door between CDC/FDA and pharmaceutical companies. These are their people. But that’s not the biggest issue. The biggest issue for black Christians is that the Party is increasingly hostile to Christianity. |
