That alone is a massive turn off to a huge number of voters. She's never known what it is like to be a mother of her own kids and had to make sacrifices to make a career and family work.

A presidential candidate who doesn't have kids is just unelectable in this country. It's the way it is.

How do you know why she didn't have kids, you f.cking ghoul?

This article states Kamala is child free by choice.

What Kamala Harris means to women who are childfree by choice
“Momala,” and what Kamala Harris’s blended family means to people like me who have chosen not to have biological kids.

Did you read the article?

"I don’t know the specific reasons Harris didn’t have biological kids. But for me, seeing the vice president’s choices embraced feels liberating."

Trump quotes from today

"Joe Biden is the worst president in the history of the United States by far," he said. "There has never been a president who has done such damage to our country. From energy independence to letting in millions and millions of illegal immigrants."

He added: "We will fix what he has done."

Asked by NBC if he was surprised by the announcement, Mr Trump said: "He should never have been there in the first place. He should have stayed in his basement."

Mr Trump also posted on his Truth Social platform, calling Mr Biden "crooked" and saying he "was not fit to run for president... certainly not fit to serve - and never was!"

+1. He ran as a one term, bridge to a younger generation POTUS. That was the promise. Like Pelosi did when she was speaker. She got the AOCs to vote for her by promising one term, then a handover to. Someone like Jefferies. Difference is Pelosi actually stepped down after her term was over as promised. And Biden didn’t. And as a Gen X Dem, that did make me angry. He was over 80 and still couldn’t let go. Like RBG. And like so many of Gen X’s parents, who say they will quit driving when they turn 80, or when it’s no longer safe. And then an accident happens that is 100% their fault and almost certainly caused by their slow reaction time or failing hearing and vision or whatever. And thank God no one was actually hurt. But, the parent is still grasping the license insisting it could have happened to anyone and driving is still safe. And you get that it’s a loss of pride and independence and feel bad, but reality is people get older and frailer and can’t do at 80 what they could at 50.

No one is exempt from aging. And at a certain point, everyone who lives long enough starts a slow decline. As a voter, I felt like he had made and broken a one term promise. And I’m glad he’s stepping aside, because if he won’t let go at 80 or 81, do we think he would at 83 or 84, midterm with obvious physical or mental issues? I don’t. He could have been worse than Reagan and hanging on. Same goes for Trump, BTW.

But wow! I wish he had kept this promise a year ago, so we could have had a real primary. He earned a lot of respect in my mind for cleaning up after Trump and getting us moving again after COVID. But also lost respect when he announced reelection. I had thought he had the character to follow through with his promises.

Please provide a link to the video where Biden said he would be a one-term president.

(hint, you can't)

No one would go into the job as a lame duck from the outset. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this weekend had been targeted to pull out, regardless of the debate fiasco.

What post will his friend Hannibal Lecter have in his admin?

And could you explain to us the shark electrocution thing again?

It is time for us to do what we have been doing, and that time is every day.

- Kamala

Ok, is that supposed to be on the same level? LMAO. Desperate.

Hahahahahaha
That woman is a moron. She will do nothing but embarrass herself. She will fall out of that coconut tree for sure.

Ummmm no. I’m a lawyer who actually watched Senate Judiciary Hearings. She may not pass the “do you want to drink beer with her” test. And that could be an issue. Hoping her time as VP has honed some of her softer skills. But, she is most definitely not stupid or inarticulate. In fact, she is very, very sharp. Ask Beer Bong Brett if you don’t believe me.

She may be smart in person but she comes across as rambling and an intellectual lightweight in public events.

Better than Biden, but not good enough. She needs to get on stage and debate Trump.

He’ll eat her alive. Sad but true!

Trump? Will eat Harris alive? Mark my words, she will crush him. If he attempts to play the woman+race card on Truth Social or anywhere else, he’s fcked. And you know he won’t be able to hold back. Harris has plenty of time. She’ll surround herself with only the strongest staff on the current team. Biden will mentor. The rally around Harris will be the likes of those you least suspect.

Sorry, but the “woman+race card” is what’s being used by Democrats in their fear of replacing Kamala with someone better. No one will do it because Dems are so very worried about identity politics. She is an idiot and that would be true regardless of her race or gender. But Democrats are too stupid to be honest.

Harris will always be herself - which is a bad temper, no manners, ill fitting pantsuits and faux pearls. The "face" she puts on for the public is who she is. She will never get the votes with it.

Clearly. That's why you and the trumpers are running around on social media rn like chickens with your head cut off.

NP. Yeah I was not expecting this level of panic from them. Good sign, I guess

I don't like Harris, but what a special level of garbage one must be to defend Trump. Depravity is the only value one has when defending him. How do you even have the audacity to think it's about "D v R" rather than basic decency?

WTF kind of families did you people grow up in that Trump embodies anything but deviance? Stop pretending it's normal to think he's anything but loathsome. I can only imagine his defenders if there were a picture of Obama so much as being in the same line at the grocery store as Epstein, let alone literally being FRIENDS with him.

I’ve never seen Trump in pearls, but it’s astonishing you feel like manners, temperament and the tailoring of suits are critical to a job you want to elect him for.

I never said I wanted him elected. I had hoped for a qualified Dem. We have Kamala. She is not going to win a national vote. And yes - class matters. Communication skills matter. This is politics in the US - are you unaware that every election cycle - these things matter?
