Agree - I am the FCDelco parent poster and we finally got the VEO of the game uploaded and can hear every word from the sideline. The coach was a bit negative at times, but never screamed or scolded. He definitely corrected the players and pointed out mistakes, but don't you want that from a coach? Parents were also fine. Just an outsider's perspective to counter some of the comments the last few pages.

Sounds like he woke up on the right side of the bed that morning. Just speculating what some of the disconnect here is because that definitely 100% is NOT how we frequently acts and BSC ECNL parents know it. To say otherwise is simply not grounded in reality.

But it’s not how he ALWAYS acts and unless a poster was there (I was not) they don’t really know. Sounds like one of his better games.

Lol, they played 2 keepers. Different one each half and both were heavily utilized passing from the back.

Parents paying over $1000 a month for kids to train goes to show you how bad they want their daughter to get recuited. Most, not all, aren't very athletic and train and train and train...and now these same people don't want their daughter playing high school soccer because it "sucks". I've seen many of these kids not get recruited, latch on to a roster spot somewhere and never play in college. It's not hard to pick out the good players and most of the good ones can train on their own and not pay a dime to anyone. I know many of these folks that do the individual training and they are killing it $$!

The shinier and more hype the private business, the more folks are lined up throwing wallets at them 😂

I know of a coach who is a no-name that has sent 100% of their private trainees from small grassroots to MLS Next teams and Professional Academies.
No frills. No fancy surroundings. No super fancy equipment. Cheap

Coaches like that aren't desired by the masses in the DMV

Bethesda U14's and U15's even with their multiple biobanded big kids were totally dominated by DCU teams with small players playing up.
