who to call for this issue?

We recently noticed nail pops in the ceiling beneath our attic and then a couple days ago noticed what looks to be condensation stains/streaks running down the walls underneath the attic. We found no leaks in the attic so our best guess is that its condensation from all the humidity. Our top floor gets VERY hot in the summer. Any other guesses what this could be from and who we should call to investigate this further?

Nail pops are common. I assume your house was built in the early 1990s or before? Now they use drywall screws, but then they used drywall nails (cheaper). The nails eventually pop when the house is settling. We fix all of ours before we paint a room. You screw the drywall down, plaster, sand and then paint. If you get too many nail pops, the ceiling can sag a bit, but it's not a big deal. It is time consuming to fix, but a handyman or drywall guy can do it.

The condensations streaks- I have no clue.

Thanks. We are concerned that the nail pops are otherwise related to the streaks because everything started happening at once. The house was built in the late 60s.

Are you thinking condensation from attic? Is you attic not ventilated? Are you sure your roof is not leaking? It's hard to find small roof leaks on a dry day.

Do you have any HVAC equipment in attic
