| Is it a more liberal or conservative town, or is it diverse politically? |
| Conservative |
|
Why?
|
| Look up the 2008 and 2012 election results. |
|
Polite enough not to discuss it or to judge others with different beliefs.
So middle of the road. |
| Diverse politically, but conservative socially, by which I mean, too polite to care, one way or the other. |
Perfect! Just what we are seeking. Gotta love Southern manners and hospitality. |

59% went for Obama in 2012.
This wasn't that difficult to find. Took about 7 seconds: http://www.homefacts.com/politics/Virginia/Fairfax-County/Burke.html |
It's about as southern as New Jersey. |
Well, bless your heart.

| I am a member of an active coven there. Many fellow travelers- come in !! |
To a degree. But around election time signs go up in yards and if you look around cars have political bumper stickers on them. So there is no overt judging on a personal basis but people care enough about politics to put a sign in their yard. In fact, you will often see neighbors who like each other and have lived next door to each other for years supporting different candidates. We met husband and wives who differed politically yet loved each other. That is Burke. |
What is a coven? |

And the non sequitur term "fellow traveller" means communist or communist sympathizer; so not at all middle of the road. Apparently there are a few kooks in the mix in Burke. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fellow_traveler |
