I write about workplace and career topics (for the Washington Post and a few magazines too) and I'm trying to interview a few working moms who are deciding what their next career move will be. Maybe you're considering a career change. Maybe you want to take a couple years off. Maybe you want to get your career back on track. How do you keep your career advancing despite the recession looming? I'd like to talk to you - and find out how you make these decisions, and who you consult with.
I'm a working mom myself and faced these questions of slow the career or speed it up several times - so I'll be fair and kind. Drop me an email at Vickie.Elmer@gmail.com if you're willing to be interviewed. Please include a few details about your job, your situation and a good way to contact you. And good luck with the career questions. |
| Why just working moms? What about working dads? |
| Will you change names in the article? Obviously, someone who is looking for change may not want their office to know about it! |
