I would also like to know.

In response to a few posts about this potentially being a "misunderstanding." I have reason to believe my child was directly impacted. There's no misunderstanding what they have told me. For an arrest to take place the investigators have to have sufficient evidence that would survive a grand jury. Three year olds make hard witnesses, especially if they have been hurt and/or threatened.

I spent several days willing this to not be true, as well. But, I believe my child.

I talked to several teachers on Tuesday who told me no men changed diapers, at least not on any regular basis

That’s because several parents requested that this particular man not be allowed to do so, and not just because he’s a man; because some parents had a “bad feeling” basically.

Thank you for highlighting the truth. It's just so odd for the school to want a man to change baby diapers. Maybe the diaper guy had some clout with the right person.

This is inane. He wasn’t a diaper guy. All anyone is saying is that parents expressed a preference not to have a man change their children’s diaper. I have heard from more than one source this wasn’t about “this guy” but was a notion that a man doing so was weird or something. There is nothing there.

Numerous people, including me, have asked for more clarity around the other allegations that have been made. We haven’t received any.

Why?

Why were we asking for more details? Because people are claiming the school knew. And without understanding it is hard to know whether the school and its leadership broke the trust we place in them each day. It’s not that hard to understand.

To the parent who said their child was impacted, You have my sincere sympathies.

Because, as people have stated over and over, they don’t want to discuss personal details about their family on a public Internet forum. I know you want to know the details. We all want to know a lot about what is going on but we just have to be patient and wait until the detectives finish doing their job. The families affected are angry and upset and have a right to be. Hopefully it will eventually all come out. In the mean time, what is the point of arguing with people just because they have more information than you and are upset by what they know?

I totally understand this but realize that people are saying as much as they can on such a public forum.

I am so sorry for what these families are going through and for the children. Just awful beyond words.

I didn't ask why people didn't tell us. I was explaining why we were asking. To be clear, I am not asking about the investigation or specifics of the criminal allegations. I and others instead were asking about the things folks are purporting DJ and others knew about earlier. Folks don't want to answer and that's fair, but it's also fair for us who are making decisions about our children to continue to ask those questions to try to understand the extent of this violation of trust. We too are affected.

You have made this same argument several times. However, you have also stated on this forum several times that there was prior knowledge. Even asking for action to be taken against the current administration. Then, when someone asks for more details, you want anonymity. It is hard for us as parents to determine if there was significant prior knowledge without actually knowing what the details were. Just having a creepy feeling because a man is working in early childhood can’t be used to signify prior knowledge. No one is asking to discuss details on a public forum, but I feel it is also wrong to try to persuade public views with vague innuendo.

You are exactly right. I could no longer trust the school with the safety of my child.

How about this- if you have no new information or facts to share that are helpful to the actual parents of victims, stop posting. It's boring and keeping the rest of us from actually seeing pertinent information.
