Lap Marks on Newly Painted Wall

Anonymous
I painted my living room two weeks ago and I have noticed some annoying lap marks (I assume where I failed to keep a wet edge). They're not that bad, and you only notice them from certain angles, but I'd like to fix it if I can.

My first thought was to just roller over those areas with a new coat. But will that just create new lap marks?

In the alternative, I could put a new coat on the whole wall and be more careful.

Do you mean streaks or overlaps?

Repaint those areas. Sometimes it just needs more. Other times its your stroke. Make sure you keep the roller wet. That is the mistake I make and it leave marks when the roller is too dry.
