I don't find Jenny Slate credible because she comes off as emotionally unstable. Remember when she gave that interview about how she had to leave her husband due to her desire to screw Chris Evans? Then she spent years chasing Evans before realizing she threw away her husband for a non commital jerk. She's a mess and the last person I'd believe about anything.

It wasn’t just Baldoni who ran into issues when interacting with castmembers. THR has learned more about the nature of the complaint that It Ends With Us actress Jenny Slate lodged, which is referenced in court documents but with Slate’s name redacted. It stemmed from an interaction with Heath about the apartment Slate had rented in New York City, where It Ends With Us was shooting. Slate, who has a toddler, told him she wasn’t thrilled with the space she had rented but that moving wasn’t an option because she didn’t want to lose the sizable security deposit, around $15,000. Heath informed Slate that Wayfarer would reimburse her for the lost security deposit so she could find better accommodations, but apparently he made the offer using language that made Slate so uncomfortable — sources say he focused intensely on the sanctity of motherhood and Slate’s role as a mother — that she filed a complaint to the film’s distributor Sony about the incident. A spokesperson for Slate did not return multiple requests for comment.

It seems like THR article has changed the wording back to Slate having formally lodged a complaint with Sony. Why did Sony say no HR complaints were filed back in August? How did they know Slate's name was the one redacted?

Just because someone types something out and posts it on the internet doesn’t make it true.

Who knows if this is true. Given that ari was the basis for the Ari character on entourage, I would not put it past him.

But I just don’t see how this will work. Ari Emmanuel is the old guard acting as if he can still control the narrative.

I get that a lot of people depend on RR and he is a huge money maker for the industry, and that sucks, but it is what it is.

Ari can’t get the genie back into the bottle. A lot of damage has been done and he’s probably trying to stop the bleeding, but it seems really desperate and futile.

It is kind of ironic that he is looking to too reasonably unknowns to fix this for him. I mean, I like Jenny, but by his own admission, her career has never really taken off into the big leagues. This just feels incredibly sad.

Agree to disagree. I don't think TS, Ari, or Ryan will be particularly impacted. I actually doubt TS will even be deposed because I think the claim involving her will be dismissed before it happens. But we'll see!

I think Justin has already lost what he had to lose though. I don't think he can rehab. He certainly will not reclaim the mantle of "male feminist." Height make a hard right turn and MRA. Would not surprise me.

Lively has a lot to gain if she can prevail, but if she doesn't or they settle quietly, I think the hit to her rep will impact her a lot. I think she'll continue pursuing as long as it makes sense legally because it's the only possible way she rehabs her image.

don’t think that this will ever get that far. I don’t see that as the end game for BL/RR. They want to settle, but need leverage to talk down damages. Let’s hope that this thing gets wrapped up soon.
