POTUS is in the middle of a cabinet meeting and stops to have a discussion about having gold leaf applied to moulding in the room they're meeting in. He's taking a vote on whether to gold leaf or not gold leaf. Watch Rubio trying to keep a neutral expression. This is what the president of the United States of America spends his time on.

God help us.

Good lord.
The man's brain is swiss cheese.

Also you can absolutely find paint that looks like gold. I have used it on a number of of very excellent Halloween costumes for my kids. And I also feel like the cabinet vote on whether to gold leaf the molding is an excellent starting point for determining which cabinet members have their heads totally up their butts.

A Trump cabinet meeting is The Emperor's New Clothes.

How do we survive this? The whole country and perhaps his own administration is hostage to one man’s delusional reality..

Advanced age didn’t cause Trump’s evil nature and morally bankrupt character—he’s always been that way.

And stop lumping him in the same category with Biden on every damn thread.

Not equating Biden to Trump's level of awfulness but as far as presidents go, they are more similar to each other than they are to any other presidents in our history given their elderly ages and historic unpopularity. No way in heck Biden wins in 2020 without someone as weak as Trump being his opponent and no way in heck Trump wins in 2024 without Biden's unprecedented re-election campaign debacle. They owe each other big thank yous.

Trump appears to have hallucinations so I wonder if he has Lewy Body Dementia.

Some psychologists that have been following closely for years think he has frontotemporal dementia: "Frontotemporal dementia, or FTD, is a rare form of dementia characterized by behavioral and language difficulties. It targets the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain and typically progresses slowly, worsening over time."

"The other thing that's actually even more diagnostic, and I had a neurologist point this out and then several neurologists confirmed it, if you watch the way he walks, he has what they call a leg swing, where his right he kind of swings it in a semicircle like it's a dead weight, and he's just kind of swinging it around," Dr. Gartner detailed. "It's very apparent in some tape and not so much in others, but that right leg swing is considered to be very diagnostic of a specific type of dementia, Frontotemporal dementia," he continued.

You mean to tell me there is a chance an 80 year old president may be in the midst of mental decline? Get out of here, no way!! Had I known this, I would have never voted for Trump and Biden. Golly Pete, I feel so dumb.

Given the choice between two 80 year old guys who may have dementia I'd just as soon have the one who's basically good and happy-go-lucky, maybe just a little distracted or mindless on a few things, hand him an ice cream and he's good, versus the angry, petty, greedy, corrupt, vindictive, hateful guy who hates more than half of America and throws bottles of ketchup against the wall.

Me too but considering the choice is being made to determine who the most powerful person in the world is, let's strive for a political climate that gives a choice between multiple people fit and qualified to be the most powerful people in the world. This isn't asking too much. We did it for over 200 years.

Interesting. But ultimately, he has always been a deeply flawed human being, with aggressive and punitive instincts he inherited from his father (who also developed dementia). And it's those instincts that are the problem, not the dementia.

All of the other 45 presidents have been flawed human beings. Trump is the only one who exhibited both human flaws and a lack of the integrity necessary in our Commander-in-Chief. A Commander-in-Chief must put the country's well-being above all else and Trump showed the world his me-first mentality in the worst of ways.

We did it before social media.

Now Zuckerberg has amassed a fortune of a quarter TRILLION dollars by making people more and more extreme.

Facebook has been used as a tool to further politically divide the sheep but I've seen nothing to convince me of Zuckerberg's role in it other than being the founder and CEO of a political tool.
