aligning with the top boys league has nothing to do with getting their players more opportunities. GA showcases are on a serious decline as far as college coaching attendance and GA needs to fix this downward spiral. aligning with mlsnext will not get more girls college coaches to attend girls events. lmao |
Do you think NWSL scouts and college scouts care about the league’s affiliation with a boys league? |
MLS scouts from MLS Acadamies. If NWSL aligns with GA they'll scout from GA over all other leagues. Its just how things work. |
What if nwsl aligns with ECNL? |
Why would NWSL align with a group that has its own leadership. When they could align with GA and basically own it the same way MLS owns MLSN? |
MLS Academies, not MLSN p2p. What equivalent to the actual academies does GA have to offer NWSL? |
It NWSL gets involved with youth soccer wherever it gets involved Academies will pop up. And, most likely a p2p league will be setup to support the Acadamies. Just like how MLS and MLSN function. |
Why would NWSL align itself with a second rate league? |
So playing at the Generation adidas Cup isn't an opportunity? |
Because youth soccer is all about the strongest clubs and if all the best GA and ENCL clubs decided to form a new super league tomorrow that in order to affiliate with the NWSL they'd probably do it and leave both leagues behind. |
So ECNL clubs have multi year contracts to stay in ECNL? You know this as fact? |
Even if it is true, seems like the day and age we're in where breaking contracts is just another form of negotiation OR competitiveness! |
I dont really care for ECNL or GA but I like that the GA parents are getting crazy + making the ECNL parents go nuts. So entertaining.... |
GA doing anything triggers the ECNL hats and their posts then trigger the GA visors. The combination of girl dads and the real money on the line for scholarships, for now, is a heady mix. |
Not really. It’s a boys tournament with girl All star teams. For exposure, players are better off playing at girls events. |
