Do you never follow the news? If you read newspapers and listen to radio/tv news outlets on a regular basis you’d have learned about numerous such stories. So are you just ignorant or trolling? |
+1 I’m not spoon feeding anything to anyone anymore. If forced birthers want to play the brain dead “cite please” game, they can go play it somewhere else. A lot of forced birthers think it’s cute making us run in circles to “prove” something that’s been well reported, and well cited in this thread. Misogynists really think they have November in the bag. And maybe they do; we’re all adults here and lived through 2016. But I sure wouldn’t be so confident, especially when the GOP is once again making their tent smaller. The three GOP state senators who filibustered against South Carolina’s abortion ban all lost their primaries. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/three-gop-state-senators-filibustered-sc-abortion-ban-lost-primaries-rcna158965 The GOP stands for nothing but the creation of the US as a monster along the fascism-white supremacist-Christian nationalism continuum. There’s nothing else there. |
It’s always this:

You need to learn to use Google. It took all of 12 seconds to get dozens of citations. This doesn't have specific cases, but definitely references the many cases that are being reported nationwide
Because of this issue, in many states, emergency rooms are declining to even treat a women if she is pregnant (even if she does not want an abortion). So thanks to the forced birthers, pregnant women, whether they want an abortion or just help with a pregnancy or abdominal pain are being turned away. The laws are killing many babies because the medical staff do not know how to handle the legal issues and so they refuse to offer any medical care for pregnant women. https://apnews.com/article/pregnancy-emergency-care-abortion-supreme-court-roe-9ce6c87c8fc653c840654de1ae5f7a1c |
Good lord. Just scroll back a few pages. There are so many stories of women being sent home to bleed out/be close to death before they could get emergency services. Here are a few to get you started. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-65935189 https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2022/11/15/1135882310/miscarriage-hemorrhage-abortion-law-ohio https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2022/07/26/1111280165/because-of-texas-abortion-law-her-wanted-pregnancy-became-a-medical-nightmare https://www.cnn.com/2022/09/22/health/ohio-abortion-patient-doctor/index.html |

It is alarming. Worse still is the media is scarcely touching on any of this. They’re happy to drop us into Gilead because their right wing billionaire owners want to pay even less money than they do. A fascist government doesn’t bother them. (Has Rick Wilson ever fully apologized for his hand in the creation of today’s GOP? I’m not on twitter anymore so I remember Republicans against Trump but what I want to hear to awareness of what he did). |
Millions of “forced birthers” are women who have been pregnant, given birth, and suffered miscarriages. |
