I’m sure that the members of the unhoused advocacy groups will welcome them on their property. |
You keep posting this crap like you're a sarcastic adolescent. Do you not see how mean and bitter and impotent you sound? |
I’m serious, not sarcastic. Why don’t these folks organize to offer private space for the homeless? This way they would be helping them directly. |
Idk why dems think ignoring problems of homeless and letting them spread problems into residential areas is somehow helping them. Its not. |
Potomac has tons of unused space. |
Surely you know they have a bigger agenda, and this feeds into it. Helping people is not their ultimate goal. |
Glamorizing homelessness or low income housing as a conscious choice creates more problems as majority has behavioral or other mental health issues, drug issues, abuse issues and attract criminal elements to use them for their interests. |
Republicans have solutions? |
You sound like one of the paranoid, mentally ill housed people. |
Voting has consequences. At least some of us are honest and consistent, and don’t flip flop, when it happens to be our lawn.
Send them to Bowser or any Member of Congress. They’ll be taken care of real quick. |
Homeless do make a choice. The reason many are living in tent encampments rather than in shelters (on which the DC government has spent many millions) is so they can shoot uo and take drugs. The shelters won’t let them do that. The DC government and the Park Police need to break up the drug-infested tent encampments already! |
Then what? They'd still be homeless, still using drugs. There needs to be a solution, not just clearing them out. |
Preferably somewhere they cant leave to get drugs or panhandle. I.e. mental health institutions |
They want to be close to free food, free giveaways, Panhandling, and drugs. |
No. They will leave this place because its too far from where they can shoot up and panhandle |
