average step count for your 2nd grader?

No, mine doesn't. But she likes to play with it once in a while. Ive let her take it to school once. She put on more than 8k steps, I forget the exact number.

I was a bit unnerved that our hyperactive 3rd grader only gets 4-6k steps a day

On weekends it is more like 12-15k

I hadn't realized how sedentary school is.

How do you supplement?

My 7 year old has some sort of step goal on his watch and it’s set at 17,500. He usually hits that.
