Outdoor trampoline with neighborhood kids...yay or nay?

| We grew up with a 14 foot trampoline. Jumped on it with about 4-5 kids at a time almost every day for about 10 years. Moved a portable basketball goal up to it and played trampoline basket ball. We would flip or back flip and jam the ball into the net. We also played dodgeball on it where on person would stand on the ground and throw a ball at the jumpers who would spin, flip, whatever to dodge it. This was back before trampolines had nets around them. Yes we fell off numerous times. There were several falls from about 12 feet in the air. However, nobody ever broke bone or otherwise got injured over probably 20,000 hours of collective jumping. I have a trampoline for my kids now that has the net around it and I have no worries whatsoever. That said, COVID. |
