| Does anyone know if you owe the IRS back taxes will they just directly apply the refund that way? Is there any research suggesting otherwise? |
| I want to know how your husband got $1800 for himself ($1200) and 1 kid ($500). |
| I made 97,000. 21 year old daughter I still help support (college) but too old for the dependent credit. I was expecting 100 and I got 497. |
A scam direct deposit from the IRS? |
Me too. Hopefully they'll send a receipt of the calculation. Unless they're making mistakes and it'll readjust on the 15th once the pending deposit goes through. |
| Of the people posting that they do not expect a stimulus deposit but received one-- what are the odds this is actually your 2019 refund and you are just confused? |
Are they automatically filing taxes for people? I haven't filed mine yet. |
You'll still get the stimulus check even if back taxes are owed. The only people who DON'T get the checks is if they owe child support. |
Got it, thanks! |
| Haven't filed 2019 yet. Pending $1,962 in my credit union account. |
| Yep. Today. Except now I have to pay it back since we definitely don't qualify. |
None at all. There is info saying that it is based on 2018 income and it is the stimulus and that if our income was higher in 2019 we will have that much less of a refund or owe money. |
| We have a pending ach of about $1700. AGI was about $170K, married with 1 dependent. |
Are you sure???? |
Why do you think you don't qualify? |
