Did you happen to see Reason.com's (libertarian publication) #friendsday vido of Hillary Clinton on facebook? That's just one reason why swing voters have had enough of the establishment candidates like she is. |
^^ |
+1. Stupid question. Plenty of people who've been rattling around congress forever but are pretty extreme in their positions and could never be elected president. Why are these things difficult to reconcile? |
This. Clinton isn't likable enough. |
And Sanders is? He sounds like an angry grandpa. I mean, how fitting that Larry David is playing him ![]() |
That's not fair or true. |
I'd totally vote for Larry David. |
Everyone with half a brain knows this is because no one has run attack ads on Sanders. Hillary won't because she doesn't want to alienate his supporters and republicans won't do it now because they would rather face him than Hillary in the general. They will find many ways to swift boat him (focusing on ax increases and socialism being two very obvious ways). |
+1 One reason I support Sanders is because I think he actually has a better shot in the general election than Hillary does. I think many Democrats underestimate how loathed she is. I think there are plenty of those on the right who will be motivated to vote just to beat her, and if the Republican nominee is someone even vaguely sane, like Jeb or Kasich (which right now is hard to imagine), then there are folks on the left who will stay home rather than vote for her. |
I'm sorry, but it's Hillary's turn. It's women's turn. It's our turn. Fuck another white man in office, I don't care how liberal he is. Women need to be heard and we need to be on the map. It's fucking time. |
Pretty much this. |
True fact-- HRC most admired woman in 2015 for record 20th year, per Gallup. http://www.gallup.com/poll/187922/clinton-admired-woman-record-20th-time.aspx Enjoy tomorrow night, sanders fans, the road afterwards will be more rocky. |
Wow. Ouch. |
I'm a woman, and I want to be heard, and I am sick and tired of money making political decisions in our country, from gun control, prison reform, health care, etc. I will use my voice/vote in support of Bernie. |
Takes a constitutional amendment to fix campaign financing so that's not happening anytime soon. |
