Get in line with the other people bitching.

Arlington Residents bitching, Fairfax residents bitching, Loudoun Residents bitching. There was a FUCKING blizzard you moron. You sound like an entitled whiny brat.

Did not expect garbage pickup this week. Did not expect a plow on Sunday morning. Did not expect a plow Monday morning. I DID expect a plow on Tuesday morning. I think that is far from unreasonable and entitled.

+1. I am the pp whose block downtown is still not plowed. We are not a side street either.

Even Comrade DiBlasio managed to get most of NYC back to almost normal by Monday morning, and NYC got more snow!

DC got "Bowsered."

I remember the days when nearly a week would go by before the residential streets were plowed. My upper NW small street was plowed on Sunday, which I find impressive for DC. Now the trash pickup, and the Christmas tree pickup, that's another story...

The Christmas trees on our street were never picked up and likely will remain encapsulated in snow for a month or so!

She's very good at calling rolling news conferences and not saying much, while her top aides stand around behind her. She should stop the press conferences and let them get back to work and out into the field.

Most. There are parts of Queens that are still messed up.

DiBlasio said the Queens results were not acceptable, but noted that JFK airport got about 5 more inches than Central Park, so there was more snow to remove.

If you would like DC to have as much equipment and manpower for snow removal as New York City, please feel free to contact the mayor to tell her that. Tell her where the extra money should come from, too.

The plows skipped our block for some unknown reason. Maybe bc our old ANC commissioner lives here and the new ANC commissioner hates us?!? I don't know but other blocks all around us are plowed. Us, nada.

You think an ANC commissioner is calling the shots here?

LOL

All I know is that all the surrounding blocks are plowed and we have not been plowed at all.

Makes no sense that the plows skipped us... And it seems deliberate.

The truth is out there.

I do not think we need to have as much equipment or manpower -- we just need to use what we have more effectively and efficiently.

The response is much different this storm. In 2009 and 2010 our street was plowed within 2 days. This time, no plow. If the response plan has changed that's fine, but the City should communicate this in advance so we could move our cars to a nearby parking garage. Now we'll have to walk a few blocks and take taxi/uber tomorrow morning to get our kids to 2 different schools. Can't wait to see the surge pricing tomorrow morning. Bowsered!

This reminds me of all of the politicians who promise to balance the budget by eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse.

What is your actual, factual, professional knowledge about snow removal, the DC budget, and DC snow removal operations?
