Growing up I used to love going to Pizza Hut. The pizza was really really really good.

When I was a child I thought McDonalds was amazing. It sucks then and it still sucks, just like pizza hut

I'm not in the DC area anymore, but the Pizza Hut by us runs good specials fairly often so if we want a quick cheap dinner that's usually what we do. The last one was two medium pizzas with any toppings for like $6 or $7 each. Hard to beat the price and I loaded mine up with vegetables.

Nope. Always nasty.

Pizza Hut is disgusting (and always has been), but the CRUNCHY ICE is amazing. I'd go there maybe just to get an XL cup of ice water.

To the PP trying to recreate the experience, try Generous George's. I think they only have the location out in Herndon now though.

I love Pete's and other high-end pizza joints, but sometimes you just want deep dish pizza, cold soda, and cozy booths instead of an industrial motif and artisanal ingredients.

Yes! Where in Bethesda or Rockville can I get deep dish? We tried Armand's and the crust tasted like paper.

I never ate the cheese, but I used to eat Subway a lot because it was so "healthy". I won't eat it now and I hate how the whole place smells like chemicals.

Pizza Hut uses frozen crusts now. Any pizza place that makes their own dough fresh in-house is going to be way better. There are a very few Pizza Hut franchisees who still make their own dough, but it's rare.

Other than that, we never ate there or had their pizza.

It was for Book It. I loved going to Pizza Hut with my family to have my Book It pizza.

Book it! I LOVED book it!

The pizza definitely has changed. It was not always gross like some on here are claiming.

Each pizza hut is different. You cant judge all of them unless you have been to all of them.
