| There are 40-42 in 5th grade and 4 home rooms. |
| what about 6th, 7th and 8th? |
+1 |
I think around 45 to 50 per grade. The youngest grades are the smaller ones. Typically K is the absolute smallest. Many kids come to McLean after trying other schools, so 1st is much more of an entry year. |
If you are at the school, wouldn't the directory have the grade numbers? |
| Why don't you just call the school and ask instead of burdening a parent to do this? I am sure the admissions office of any school has these numbers readily available. |
| Pp posted MS was full so they seem to be aware of the numbers. Not sure how this is such a burden. |
| Commonwealth tends to deal with a wider range of learning issues. The Head of Commonwealth was a school Counselor at McLean school years ago so she might be able to give you more info to compare and contrast. Of course, their goal is to sell Commonwealth. |
| Here is information about a workshop taking place at McLean in February. http://www.mcleanschool.org/parents/1928/cecily/#1 |
Commonwealth (very happy) parent here. I don't think this is true at all. Commonwealth is a college prep school for kids with ADHD. It does not handle other issues. It is too small. McLean will take issues other than ADHD. |
| Is the curriculum at the Commonwealth academy really challenging?. I am trying to find a learning environment that is nurturing and not demanding. |
| Why did the Mclean school lose so many students? |
THATS A LIE!!! but it is small.
