If that was about my circular silliness in the PP, I happily accept "laughable" -- my attempts at humor are usually called "groanable". "Dumb" or "stupid" I could understand, but "hypocritical" seems way off the mark, unless I am being egotistical in assuming you were referring to my post. In any case, remember that the first words of this thread were "Hey ladies, lets have some fun!"

I just read that she is opposed to making polar bears an endangered species. That makes me sad.

I lived outside the great Capital beltway , good luck with your wacko forum. Sarah Palin has allways been proud of her country, unlike others we need not mention.Oh by the way got terrorists! Iam so happy to be south of DC!

does everyone forget how fugly Hilary was at the start of the Clinton nightmare? No one needs to worry about Palin, she is a natural beauty that will really shine with those with the power get a hold of her. Hilary is still ugly as sin, just not nauseating to look any more.
While we are on the looks, McCain was hot as hell as a young man.

Wow, what incisive commentary! What a brilliant mind! Call the Nobel Prize committee!

Something I havent really seen discussed:

This woman believes that Creationism should be taught in all public schools. I find that a great deal more than just deeply disturbing. First of all we have separation of church and State. Secondly, I thought only really, really stupid, ignorant LUNATICS belived in Creationism. Its the nuttiest of theoiries. It flies on the face of all that is rational and based in science and fact and reality. Its total fringe-wacko-theory territory. HOW can McCain want this woman by his side in the White House??????

Oh, did I hurt your little feelings about Hillary? Too bad, she is ugly. It may not be incisive, but neither is discussing Palin's hair or McCains lack of color. Get over yourself.

I believe that Creationism should be taught in public schools. As should Pastafarianism (that the world was created by the Flying Spaghetti Monster). As well as evolution.

30% time for each.

All hail the Lord Flying Spaghetti Monster and His Noodly Appendage.

Please don't call me a lunatic because Ibelieve the Flying Spaghetti Monster created the world. I am perfectly sane, and you should elect me Vice President because of the strength of my beliefs, and the firmess of my convictions. I stick to my beliefs no matter what evidence is presented to me, because my belief in the flying spaghetti monster is based in faith not research or science.

And you can trust me with the nuclear codes.

Ha ha! My feelings aren't hurt. I'm just amused by how badly you make an argument.

Eeeewwww! You think Clinton is ugly and Palin is beautiful! Wow, I'm just floored by the brilliance of your argument. Let's nominate you for Secretary of State! No, even better, Supreme Court!

23:11 is showing her ignorance by assuming that there is only one creationism theory. It sounds like she has never heard of the more mainstream theories of creationism such as theistic evolution or allegorical interpretations of Genesis. As Sarah Palin has said herself, she is the daughter of a science teacher and she does believe in evolution. I'm not saying I'm a big proponent of creationism being taught in science class, but I do think that it is wrong to attack a person's intelligence based upon their belief in creationism, especially when you do not know what it means.

This isn't accurate. Palin thinks students should be allowed to discuss creationism in the classroom if it comes up. She has explicitly said she does not think it needs to be included in the curriculum. Let's stick to the facts.

People are mostly worried that Palin is, specifically, a "New Earther" creationist. There are reports of people up in Alaska who know here who were specifically told by her that she, Sarah Palin, believes that man and dinosaurs walked the earth at the same time.

Another valley activist, Philip Munger, says that Palin also helped push the evangelical drive to take over the Mat-Su Borough school board. "She wanted to get people who believed in creationism on the board," said Munger, a music composer and teacher. "I bumped into her once after my band played at a graduation ceremony at the Assembly of God. I said, 'Sarah, how can you believe in creationism -- your father's a science teacher.' And she said, 'We don't have to agree on everything.'

"I pushed her on the earth's creation, whether it was really less than 7,000 years old and whether dinosaurs and humans walked the earth at the same time. And she said yes, she'd seen images somewhere of dinosaur fossils with human footprints in them."

Munger also asked Palin if she truly believed in the End of Days, the doomsday scenario when the Messiah will return. "She looked in my eyes and said, 'Yes, I think I will see Jesus come back to earth in my lifetime.'

In addition, while she herself may say that she doesn't believe in literal Creationism, all four churches that her family has attended in the recent past have on thing in common:

All four fellowships the family has attended appear to have one trait in common: They all insist on the inerrancy of the Bible. Their pastors preach that scripture is literally God's spoken word.

Launching into a discourse on the purpose of man earlier this year, Juneau Christian Center pastor Mike Rose touted the Genesis version of creation while dismissing Darwin's theory of evolution, which some Christian faiths are willing to accept.

Rose strongly disagrees with denominations that interpret passages in the Bible figuratively rather than literally.

"If you really want to know where you came from -- and happen to believe the word of God, that you are not a descendant of a chimpanzee -- then this is what the word of God says," Rose said in a sermon recorded in April. "I believe this version."

This is why I want to see Sarah Palin have some more interviews. I would like her to answer that question -- is she a "New Earther"? Does she repudiate her past 4 churches on this issue?

I get a kick out of these posts talking about what they like about Sarah Palin: She's 'gutsy'. Tells it like it is. Has made real mistakes in her career and family life.

Okay, fine. You're also describing my Uncle Art. He's had about 10 failing businesses and three divorces. And he constantly tells it like it is. He's also liquored up every Saturday night and is flat out crazy...well, not so crazy that he thinks dinosaurs walked the earth with people.

Democrats are not interested in accuracy. This is not something they value.
