How about the D&B’s and broadway part of the story?

Kids had more fun at d&b vs a broadway play

Anonymous wrote:OP, can you clarify whether the entire trip consisted of driving to New Jersey to go to D&B’s plus 30 minutes in a museum, or whether this was one activity, replacing a Broadway show, part of a larger trip with other activities in NY/NJ?

It was the first one, the only thing I am saying is that in previous trips there was a broadway show and in this trip there was a visit to D&B’s instead of broadway.

Why did you not question such a waste of time and gas beforehand? No need to leave the DMV for this.

No need to go to nyc for D&B’s.

This whole thing seems fishy. I do t think it happened. Either not at all, or OP is leaving out other parts of the trip.

Not a single other person has corroborated this story, and OP refuses to name the school. Didn’t happen as described.

Correct, this story is equivalent to saying my kid took a field trip to Connecticut to eat at Wendy’s.

Unfortunately it did happen and one parent mentioned “ Kids had more fun at d&b vs a broadway play”. The fact that the field trip was ridiculous doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Hi OP, you are a loser! Go talk to the admin rather than posting here and being unhelpful and petty

It cannot be a real thing that a ~60K a year school did an overnight trip to NY and spent significant time at Dave and Busters.

Good rage bait, though.

Bullis just did a field trip to NYC but I’m pretty sure it was specifically to see a Broadway play. Interesting this was posted just after that trip. Did some kids not get into the show and D&B was the backup?

Yes of course, that’s what posters in DCUM do all the time.

No. None of kids went to a broadway play and all of them went to D&B’s.

I literally saw photos of kids at the play so, that’s a lie. I think it was only the theater kids though.

My kid didn't have the option to go to the play.
