| My DD was accepted years ago. The biggest positive was the group of friends she made. She was a little quirky and found like minded friends which was such a great thing for her. But, then she was accepted into the middle school program, which was a huge let down. Looking back, I am not sure we would do it again. |
| We were offered a spot at a CES five days before school started. We said no. Child was already being enriched by a Spanish TWI program, we had excellent relationships with school admin, and our before/after care situation was awesome. If my kid had been unhappy that would have changed things. Showing up knowing no one and more complex logistics wasn’t worth extra reading & writing. Whether it’s worth it depends on your matrix of priorities. |
