OP here. Deus ex machina this time. My office is going to be closed early next week for a maintenance issue so I have to telework (not allowed when office is open). Husband will drop off car for fixes Monday and then pick her up and drop her off Wednesday and Friday afternoons doing that. Fine.

I just wish that the visit were longer given that it's going to be 300 miles in 3 days. Get this - Thanksgiving dinner will be at another SIL's...10 minutes from the station, 50 miles from us with city traffic. You can't make this up.
