"plant based meal"? hum ... i think being a vegetarian or vegan is great and very ethical and more healthy adults should def aimed for that. But as a specific recommendation for a kid to grow taller? That's sounds like wishful thinking...

If there is any nutritional tip that is somewhat backedup at least by observational evidence is that ethnic groups that drink a lot of milk are taller, and cheese and other animal proteins also seem to have a stronger impact.

Groups that traditionally rely on legumes and veggies tend to be short. we can debate which group is healthier. But that's not the question asked here
