That’s interesting. What was underwhelming about it. I went to grad school there and was constantly awed by how many buildings there are and such a pretty setting

Georgetown did not have enough tour guides, there were so many people per guide we couldn’t hear a single thing. The campus is nice, though.

For me (a mom of a senior in northern VA), W&M, GMU, and Radford exceeded my expectations while UVA did not. I had high expectations for UVA which likely colored my view. I do think expectations going in, as well as the tour guide and weather on tour day, impact one's impression of a school. But important to evaluate aside from those variables.

Hated maryland! (Should’ve lived in Virginia). Loved Colorado.

Loved Lafayette. Skidmore was the longest tour ever and the three groups kept overlapping and the guides were talking over one another - it was weird and made for an uncomfortable tour. Nice campus though. Didn't even get out of the car at Trinity U. My kid didn't like Dickinson at all. Loved Oberlin.

DD loved Mount Holyoke, hated Smith and was underwhelmed by Bryn Mawr. Loved Haverford.

Unhelpful. You loved it or hated it? Why? If you can't complete the assignment, don't bother to respond.

Tell me where the assignment (aka original post) asked for anything other than the exact information I provided

DP. You didn’t answer the basic question in the heading. We don’t know if you liked or didn’t like Georgetown.

St. John's in Santa Fe is gorgeous. They're doing some construction, and even that didn't take away from the beautiful campus. It's tucked in the foothills of Santa Fe with trails all around - cozy and very sweet.

On the same tour, my DS hated Virginia Tech and my Dd fell in love with it. Go figure.

We didn't at all although we really wanted to! It just seemed very depressing and frankly run-down.
Tour guide didn't seem to like the school herself which didn't help.

+1
We were so turned off by W&M. DC scratched it off the list midway through the tour.

Liked the Maryland campus- College Park, not so much.

USC. Felt too slick.

Locust Walk at Penn is one of the most dynamic parts of a college campus that I've ever seen. Absolutely loved it - DC, too.

Didn’t like - Duke, everyone seemed to be depressed, Penn, annoying tour guide did not help school, BC, underwhelming in so many ways.

Liked - Wake Forest, great tour, upgrading campus facilities, North Carolina, wonderful people, wonderful campus, Vanderbilt. Great city and campus.
