Yes, my body weight hasn't changed, just my clothing sizes due to where the fat is now -- bust and stomach. The bust is more annoying than the belly. |
| liposuction doesn't work if you don't have hormones under control. |

I tried ozempic and lost weight. Watch your hair. Mine started falling out. Many posts of this happening and not due to “rapid weight loss” as others will claim.
I lost maybe 1/2 a pound a week on a very low dose. Hair started falling out rapidly at 3 month mark. Stopped and when it was out of my system it stopped. |

I am practicing radical acceptance.
When I get frustrated, I remind myself what my life would have to look like to get rid of the belly fat and then I am happy about my choice. I feel like I’m pretty healthy. Do I look like a swimsuit model? No. But I’m at an age where women were historically put out on ice floes as irrelevant and so I feel like I’m ahead of the historical standard. |
| I am 50, and it takes sooo much efforts to maintain flat stomach. I don't eat wheat at all, grains (millets, quinoa, buckwheat, steel cut oats, barley) maybe once a month. All my carbs and sugar comes from fruits and vegetables; fruits are limited, two fruits per day max. No alcohol. Jogging twice a week; workout 4-5 times a week (sometimes it is very light workout, like 30 min yoga or pilates). The only thing that really helps me is fasting regularly. On those days, my stomach is truly flat. |
| I am going in my 44th year and gained weight which is not coming off from Ozempic. No interest in sex and it feels like downhill from here. |
| Honestly the only thing that worked is Zepbound and even so, fat still wants to go there. |
| Stop drinking alcohol; i gave up my glass of wine at night ans lost inchh off belly the firsy month. |
| give up alcohol for a few months |
| I'm in the same position. I'm 48, in menopause this year and can't get rid of the weight. I'm about 20 pounds heavier than I want be and for the past year, I've worked out (strength training 3x per week, cardio 2x per week, and walking about 2 miles each day with a weighted vest). I can feel myself gaining muscle, but the fat's not going anywhere. I eat about 1300 calories per day. I don't think I can cut back on food anymore without becoming ravenous. I don't know what else to do. I'm on HRT. And I'd rather not do GLP1's as I've got friends on it and they regain the weight when they stop the drug. |

Zepbound |
I haven't seen that side effect of ozempic. I take them but my hair were falling before I started taking ozempic. |
try zepbound but I think low sex drive could be an affect of both of them. |

I did all the right things with eating and exercise and the weight didn’t budge, crept up and my stomach got really big. Then full on menopause hit with labs to confirm and I really gained despite barely eating. It’s hormonal.
My labs got bad and I agreed to Zepbound. It’s a miracle drug and for the first time in forever I’m able to lose weight. I was solidly in the obese category with high blood pressure and cholesterol before I did it. As for sex drive, I don’t care. That was long gone before and I’ll take losing weight and being healthy. My cholesterol is back to normal and blood pressure is under control. Smaller stomach and clothes fitting is a bonus. Ask your doctor. |
To this poster, just wondering… Are you on HRT? If you are, did you try it before or after the zepbound? |
