I hate people who intentionally make their car loud and rev them for no reason.

Sadly every time one grows up and goes on to bigger and better things, silly teens take their place.

Lots of seemingly financially well-off Asian young men add glass-pack muffler to make their puny cars sound loud. Very annoying & the makes the driver seem immature & foolish. Need a law against such devices which make mufflers loud (noise ordinance).

Say what you mean. “Young Hispanic or poor white trash males, driving Hondas or similar vehicles with coffee can style exhaust.”

Manual transmission has nothing to do with this. Usually it’s due to aftermarket exhaust that is intentionally loud. It’s also not on a specific type of vehicle. It can be a sedan, coupe, suv, huge pickup truck or motorcycle.

It's the whistle tips. Woo woooooo!

Is that you Lil Sis and Bub Rub? Ya’ll up cookin breafest? 😂

You’re not getting a proper exhaust note because your exhaust is spinning a turbo first before it gets to anything else. The burble is gone as soon as the exhaust pulses hit those blades.

You can have a turbocharger, or you can have a good exhaust note.

Pick one.

I'm doing the best I can. But maybe I'll get a car with a naturally aspirated V8 and drop some coin on a straight pipe.
