Please play, sing, hum the Imperial March from Star Wars when you see Trump cops patrolling

Thank you for holding giant guns outside the library to scare children?

Who is scared at the sight of a rifle which isn't pointed at them? Are you afraid when you see an armed police officer? Do you tremble in public, knowing that someone around you might have a concealed weapon on their person because they are off-duty or non-uniformed law enforcement, or perhaps just an armed citizen? Silly snowflake hysteria. Obey the law, have no fear.

Some of us want the government out of our lives. Didn't Republicans used to believe that? Trump is worse than Democrats. He wants the government up everyone's ass.

+1

Republicans are the party of Anti Freedom, Anti American, they want a dictator to tell them what to do every day all day. They don't support our military at all.

No OP is smart.

You are part of the idiot brain dead crowd. Who drank the Koolaid of not only a traitor but a Con man!

Trump says that NOW anyone can take their spouse or friend out to dinner in DC safely. Before the National Guard siege, he said that couldn't be done safely. So bon appétit DC! Thank your National Guard!

Can they also deal with the rats? That would be great.

Your last sentence describes the President.

It's ironic that the Trump administration resembles the Chinese government. They want a centrally planned economy with the government deciding every little thing. You get special favors if you bring the dear leader a gift.

Can't wait to see the rapid response on the next natural disaster with Trump tying up our National Guard with his nonsense.

Grow up. There's no reason whatsoever to have a machine gun in Washington D.C. unless you're trying to intimidate people. The whole point is to make the public afraid.

Looks like it's working, then, at least on you. Others, not so much.

Sorry you can't proscribe the presence of people around you, limiting your view to only those you approve of.

If we've learned anything from this sorry episode, it's that Republicans believe in literally nothing except being in power. This is not going to end well for them.

This is dumb. And makes anyone doing it look childish.

I assume this bothers you when you travel to Europe? Heavily armed police/military in many public spaces? Personally, I feel safer having law enforcement that isn't tethered to the sociological whims of the DC City Council protecting me.

i second this. And, do you tremble in fear at the sight of a motor vehicle, which could crush you? Or a pharmacy, containing drugs which could kill you? How about martial arts schools, whose instructors and students might kick your you-know-what? The sight of an airplane, which might fall on you? If not, why do you anticipate a National Guard, or law enforcement, weapon being used on you any more than you anticipate other objects being used against you? There is no threat to you, it's in your head.
