Call me crazy, but AI should NEVER be used for customer service/support. Literally every social media is now relying on robots to help their users, and customer support on stores are using AI to “help benefit” their profit. It is hideous AF.

Avoiding it wherever possible because it produces garbage. My disenchantment with the internet is reaching epic proportions and I’m opting out of it more and more. Quality of life improving though!

I actually agree with you on this. The only reason why I would see so many companies sacking employees and replacing them with AI is because to save money. How nice to be greedy!

No one has mentioned AI being awful at art. And to think people are calling themselves AI “artists” makes me so confused. For one, you do not even make the art, a robot does it for you, and secondly, AI can still make tons of mistakes and look terrible even on a sheet of paper.

What is the worst is that a person I work with loves to run my writing through AI. While my writing may not be perfect in every instance, the bland garbage that AI spits out is worse. Everything will soon sound exactly the same. Imagine if Jose Saramago had an editor who ran his novels through AI.

Your co-worker should understand AI should not be the solution to improve something. Same thing with what I have heard with professors trying to see if their students using AI with these so called “detectors”. I think it just sounds scary how AI has manipulated writing in the worst way possible.

Yes I block them all and set it manually to NO for all dumb lame AI summaries.

AI can do a lot of cool things with data and functions but don’t pretend it will pick out the key takeaways that matter to me. Plus, so much fake news fed into them.
