BCC's interim Principal

Anonymous
I am a Blair parent and we had a good experience with Yates last year. Folks are right that he's the fixer principal, but he's also the principal you bring in when the situation is complicated for some reason, like one of the largest and most diverse high schools in the state not having a principal.

BCC does not need a word salad Ukraine lover. It needs an effective communicator and doer who understands its student population and can bring fabulous programs with quality teaching. And a sincere plan to mitigate safety issues.

The counseling office needs to communicate and get organized, not have parents chasing down counselors students chasing down counselors to get things done

Did Engalls who won MCPS girls basketball coach of year award leave too?

No, she and her assistant switched roles for a few years. They cleaner house on the boys side. They were doing to shady stuff and had to go.

Well PP? What did they do???

I heard it was the JV coach spreading a lot of baseless rumors that triggered the whole mess. Judging from the non-response that seems to be true.

I'm a BCC parent and haven't heard anything about that. But I have heard things about the main booster parent, the one who sends emails in all caps. Since they're rumors, I will not repeat them here.

The JV basketball coach was doing things he should not have been doing and the varsity coach, who is in charge of both programs knew of it and did nothing.

I knew it. The JV coach always made my alarm bells go off. Something not right there.
