Men who like shrewish wives

She will scream at him anywhere-at home in front is us, at our house, restaurants.

Very few men actually like this, but many men find themselves in this position. Having it stop is often not on the table—asking nicely tends not to work, and escalating merely feeds into the dynamic—so your choices reduce to 1. Put up with it, or 2. Blow up your family. Given all the down sides of 2, is it any wonder most men choose 1? As they say, “It’s cheaper to keep her.”

Do you tell your boss that they're "nagging" you to do your job? Or does it only apply to someone you think you can manipulate and control?

If they don’t want to be treated that way then they need to just do as they are told and when they are told or else they are responsible for my behaviour!

What should she have done or said instead PP?

Pls provide some examples.

Sorry, who has those two lousy choices when someone is a deadweight? The functional spouse or the deadweight dysfunctional spouse?

Well, basic kindness and respect are a must for a healthy marriage.

The nagging wife thinks it is the man’s job to do everything and 100% to her satisfaction. No breaks , no peace: work, work, work while she stands on a pedestal of her imagination dictating like Cinderella’s step-mother, or like Hilary Clinton (shudder) would have done had she oozed into the White House.

You sound like call women "females" and say they're "yapping" when they try to tell you about their day.

Go troll somewhere else.

I like other people's shrewish wives. It is pretty sexy to see a woman take another man down a notch.

LOL the title of this thread is triggering to the wives of DCUM. Lots of men nodding their heads.

Classic manipulative behavior. Incredibly toxic.

I imagine our boss at work is like this. Frankly, people are always surprised she is even married in the first place. Her husband sounds like a loser from what I've heard. I don't get it either.
