Saw F1 at AMC tonight!

Took the family to see it today. Definitely a lot of fun and the wife (who is not an F1 fan) said she enjoyed it.
It also didn’t end the way that I was expecting it to.

and too old.

I had a hard time getting over that knowing he's 60. F1 drivers you retire in their 40s.

But the movie was entertaining enough. DH is a huuuuuge F1 fan, has been for many decades. He enjoyed it.

He doesn't look 60. Mid to late 40s? How old is he supposed to be in the movie (if you do the math, from his devastating accident/years off etc? I didn't do the math to see what they are pretending Brad's age is in the movie).

DS (12) said its in his top 5 movies. DH is a big McLaren fan and we've been to quite a few F1 races. We enjoyed it quite a bit

he is actually very small. I met him when he filmed a movie on my block.

He did his own driving. Go easy on him.

I really think anyone who doesn't like this movie or at least isn't charmed by the race scenes has zero imagination. Or at least has something wrong about them. I'm not even into F1 or Pitt. But really - you go and see a movie about racing and the entire movie I pretty much focused on the driving with 9 races and you are just going to talk about everything wrong about it? Why even go see this at all?!!

Of course it's a formula movie. Brad Pitt is like 60. Of course he's too old! It's not going to be a killer plot or dialogue it's just a flick. It's not going to be a F1 documentary as it's with Brad Pitt. Wouldn't you assume this all is true before you buy tix for it?! lol

I loved that the “love” interest was in her forties and normal looking. Not some hot young thing.

That was an homage to Angela, Lewis' physiotherapist.

The love interest was actually quite hot, although I was not a fan of her accent.

How does one “age well” when they’ve had a ton of plastic surgery? Aging well is for the genetically blessed who need NO assistance to keep up their youthful appearance. And no, he doesn’t look like he’s in his late 40s, lol.
