Where do you keep your purse at a restaurant?

Have none of you ever had a purse stolen? I learned my lesson leaving my bag on the floor in Europe when I was in college. Passport taken along with money and plane tickets and a camera of priceless memories. This was clearly before smartphones.

Keep it in your lap or bring a portable purse hook.

No, they would have to reach through my closed legs to get to it.

I hang it on my leg of keep it in my lap, not because of germs, but because I’m incredibly forgetful and if it doesn’t fall when I stand up it will be left behind.
