No bare toes at work. None. Never. It's gross. I'm sure you have very lovely pedicured feet but no one at work wants to see them.

X2. Unprofessional.

I would wear them, but I'm in a very casual office.

I really don't want to see your hands, like EVER. Please wear gloves at all times.

Hands are not feet, unless you walk on them. Or in your case, they probably are dragging on the ground anyway.

What?

Start looking around. They are pretty sketchy.
Toe fungus
Callouses
Webbed toes, curled toes
Bunions
Hammer toes
Corns
Flat feet
It's pretty rare to see flawless feet. Feet are not hands.

Too casual for work.

If you have “Frankenstein feet” please do not expose your toes. Consider plastic surgery or something. Some women’s feet are downright scary.

Most places are casual but I dint want to see feet at work. Just save them for home.

Why?

Well I choose to arbitrarily find your hands gross and offensive. Please cover them up.

I wear ballet flats to work in the summer. My office is pretty casual but I feel like exposed toes is still too much for work.

Are tools used in your engineering firm? Are you an engineer? Sandals would be unsafe.

There are some people/cultures who genuinely consider feet a private part, like a butt or nipple. You also see this in discussions of having shoes off/shoes on homes.

Op, these sandals are quite minimal on material. Please, no. But, a peep toe pump or sandal might be ok. However, no flip flops either.

Not only are feet particular ugly, as a PP notes, they have all kinds of gross stuff like fungus and bunions that hands don't have.

Add to that that you somehow had to get from your house to work with those bare completely exposed feet. 99% chance anyone who would wear those is also taking the bus or metro to work. ugh i shudder to think how disgusting and filth covered your feet would be by the time you get to work. The dirt you'd pick up just walking around, cms close to the ground. At least with hands, the first thing you do when you get to work is wash them in the bathroom. No such option for feet, so those filthy things just linger in your office and walk among your colleagues. Gross.
