55, why? They are classic wholesome movies. I also love it’s a wonderful life. |
Probably Dirty Dancing
Notting Hill Roman Holiday! |
True Romance
State of Grace The Rock The Music Man Oklahoma Some Like it Hot North by Northwest Three Days of the Condor The Big Country School of Rock Wedding Crashers Manchurian Candidate (original version) Bridge on the River Kwai The Third Man |
Yes! Plus You’ve Got Mail. Both are movies I do not own but will stop and watch every single time. That Thing You Do would be up, but it’s hardly ever on/free. I think this is why Tom Hanks is successful - I don’t have a thing for him but boy does he make any movie rewatchable. |
+1 And the movie, Big. |
I’m 50 and I watched those two movies a couple months ago too. Every now and then, I just want to watch a completely wholesome movie from my childhood. I don’t scroll as much (Dh does), but if I need a familiar movie on I tend to go for Its Complicated or Something’s Gotta Give |
Interesting. I’m 53 and “yours, mine and ours” was not at all a part of my childhood experience. Didn’t mean to be rude - was just wondering. |
My teenaged son rented this the other night and it made me so happy. My sister and I must have watched this 100 times when we were young. |
+1 best romcom ever. My 13 yo loves it too! |
